Team SA - Team Management - 2020 Australian Championships Sydney

Athletics SA is calling for applications for Team Management positions for the 2020 Australian Track and Field Championships.
The State Team Management Staff are appointed based upon experience, qualification and suitability (ratified by the Athletics SA Board) and are responsible to the Tour Team Manager, who is generally the Athletics SA Development Manager.
The appointed State Team Managers will be required for the Australian Track and Field Championships from departure on 20th of March 2020 through to arrival in Adelaide on the 29th of March 2020. This includes the rest day on 25th of March.
Managers in this role will be required to have a current DHS Clearance (Formerly DCSI), Play by the Rules – Child Protection Certificate, minimum of Level 1 AA Coaching Accreditation or AA Officiating Accreditation.
Selected State Team Managers are voluntary staff; however they will receive the following:
- Flights to and from the competition city
- All required ground transportation
- Accommodation for the duration of the competition
- Meal Allowance
- Uniform if required, which includes, 2 shirts, shorts, tracksuit jacket and tracksuit pants
The management staff are responsible for the management, care, and control of the South Australian Team members in all matters pertaining to:
- Team meetings and reports
- Travel to and from the competition locations
- Welfare and wellbeing of team members
- Team moral and management
- Health of team members
- Competition management
The first responsibility of selected State Team Management Staff is to all state team members, and not to any personal athletes a selected State Team Manager may coach. It is expected and required that appointed personnel will give equal treatment to all team athletes.
