COVID-19 Update - Championships Postponed

Dear Athletics SA Community,
The SA Government has this morning announced a lockdown for seven days from 6.00pm tonight, Tuesday 20 July 2021. Athletics SA had earlier this morning consulted with stakeholders including SA Race Walkers Club and made the decision to postpone both the State Cross Country Championships and State Winter Walks Championships that were scheduled for this weekend.
The evolving situation has changed the advice given to several people and that now needs to be updated with the latest requirements issued by the health authorities and State Government which is designed keep South Australians safe and well.

Both Championship events will be postponed until a suitable date can be found, as restrictions ease, and we will announce both dates once practical. Any registrations for these events will be held for the new date. If you require a refund of your registration, please email the office at admin@athleticssa.com.au to arrange this.
The SA Athletics Stadium will be closed for training until further notice, so any personal fitness activity will need to be undertaken outside of this facility.
