Adelaide University Athletics Club has applied for affiliation with Athletics SA
The interest in athletics in South Australia continues to grow and the investment in facilities over recent years is showing dividends. Clubs have enjoyed a successful 2021-2022 season with numerous clubs welcoming new members.
Adelaide University Athletics Club, previously part of our competitions, has applied to Athletics SA for affiliation. Originally established in 1906, the Adelaide University club has an extensive history participating in social and competitive athletics and it is the competitive side that they wish to re-ignite at Athletics SA.
Athletics SA invites comment from affiliated clubs, other organisations or persons in relation to the application, the details of which are shared below. The Board of Athletics SA shall consider all comments received and make a determination as to whether to accept the application for affiliation or not. The Board may seek additional information before making such a determination.
