Athletics SA Christmas and NY Office Closure

The Athletics SA office at the SA Athletics Stadium will be closed from December 20, 2021 to January 4, 2022.

We hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year period, and we look forward to seeing you in 2022. 

The first competition of the New Year will be held at the SA Athletics Stadium on January 8 & 9, 2022 - the State Multi Event Championships.

The Team Multis Championships will be held during the same event.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Twilight on Friday evening (December 17), it was a great way to end 2021. 

Unfortunately the Feature 3000m races could not go ahead due to lightening, which put on quite a show for those in attendance.

Congratulations to those who claimed best dressed prizes - Tommy Mattinson, Alex McEwan, Jack McMillan and Isabel Hobbs - and thanks to Balfours and Golden North Ice Cream for providing prize packs!

Tommy Mattinson of Western Athletics Club claimed one of the $50 Golden North Ice Cream Vouchers as a best dressed prize on Friday night's Christmas Twilight competition.

Tea Tree Gully's Alex McEwan received the Balfours best dressed prize basket for throwing the discus and running the 150m as Santa.
