APPOINTMENT – Mark Ross, Competition & Event Manager

Athletics SA is pleased to announce that Mark Ross has been appointed as our Competition and Event Manager, taking over from Simon Duncan on a full-time basis.

Mark comes to Athletics SA with strong expertise in sports and event management having worked as the AFLW Event and Operations Manager for all games in Adelaide, the Football Operations Manager at Norwood Football Club, and is currently involved in talent identification and client services with Bravo Management. During interviews Mark demonstrated ways in which he developed and led a positive and inclusive culture within the Norwood Football Club that players, coaches and volunteers were engaged in. His professional approach, natural ability to communicate with confidence, and willingness to learn is expected to stand us in good stead as we progress our strategic plan and deliver several national events in the next two years.

Mark will start with Athletics SA on Monday 2 May. Please join us in welcoming Mark to the team!
