State Cross Country Championships 

2024 Winter Season

Event Information

Athletes will compete for the State Cross Country Title, and Clubs will challenge for Winter Premiership points across the ages! 

Distances vary from 3k to 10k! Bring on the champs!

All age groups are taken as age at 31st December in the year of competition.

Course Details 

Shoe Declaration - All athletes participating in the U20 and Open age groups need to advise when registering what shoe they will be wearing.  To easily see if your shoe is an allowed shoe CLICK HERE.

Club Competition - Athletes in the open male and female races will also be competing for club championship medals. Top three athletes from each club in the open races will count for points with remaining athletes pushing others back. It's then simply lowest score wins!

First Aid

First Aid personnel will be on hand during the event and will be located at the finish line/admin area.  

Check in

*ALL ASA members are to wear their ASA registration numbers*

Event check-in is located near the Finish Line. All participants are required to check-in for their event no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

When assembling at the start line, participants are asked to place themselves in relation to their anticipated pace. That is, the fastest runners at the front and the slower runner and walkers towards the back. If you are unsure, please ask one of our friendly marshals or another event participant.
