State 10km Road Championships (+5km)
2023 Winter Season
Welcome to the second round of the 2023 Winter Season!
The State 10km Road Championships will be a chance for road PBs and State Titles!
Those in the U14 to U18 age groups have the opportunity to run 5km for Winter Premiership points.
State Titles and points will be up for grabs for senior athletes (U20 and above) across 10km, with junior athletes competing for points in the 5km.
Athletics SA Members - please bring your 2022-23 Season competition bibs (both). If you have not yet attended an event you will receive your bibs at the event.
General Public participation is welcomed and encouraged for this event in either the 5km or 10km distance. Simply select the General Public entry when registering and you will be able to run with 5km or 10km without being a part of the State Championship competition. All participants will receive a race bib as part of their entry!

*The event location has been changed due to delayed council works on the West Beach course, and we hope this venue will offer a better experience for athletes, coaches and spectators.

Toilets
The bathrooms near the Hamilton Boulevard car park will be open, and bathrooms in the undercover atrium will also be accessible.
Food & Drink
The Jubilee Cafe will be open on the corner of Kingsway Avenue and Hamilton Boulevard for coffee and light refreshments.
Parking
Car parking is available on Rose Terrace, Leader Street and surrounding streets. The internal North West Car Park off Rose Terrace will be closed as it forms part of the course.

First Aid
First Aid personnel will be on hand during the event and will be located at the finish line/admin area.
Check in
*ALL ASA members are to wear their ASA registration numbers*
Event check-in is located near the Finish Line. All participants are required to check-in for their event no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
When assembling at the start line, participants are asked to place themselves in relation to their anticipated pace. That is, the fastest runners at the front and the slower runner and walkers towards the back. If you are unsure, please ask one of our friendly marshals or another event participant.
