This is an opportunity for teams to get involved with the combined event action by entering teams to compete in the combined events in a relay-style format! Please note that this is NOT a Championship event.

What is it?

The Team Multi competition is an opportunity for a group of athletes to compete in the multi-events, without having to compete in each individual discipline.

 

Teams of between 2 – 5 athletes can get together to compete in a Pentathlon in one of two age categories – Junior (U14, U16 & U18) or Senior (Open & O35). Mixed age group teams are allowed, and the team will be placed in the age group of the oldest athlete. There will be Male and Female categories and mixed teams can compete in the Male category.

 

The individual events that make up the Team Pentathlons are as per the table below:

Teams are not required to come from the same club, so feel free to make up a team from your friend’s and training groups.

 

Registration is only $25 per team (regardless of team numbers) and to register nominate a team Captain and a team name and head to HERE to register for this event. We will be in contact once registrations close to get further information about your team members, seed times/distances etc.

TEAM NOMINATION FORM: Please submit a completed TEAM NOMINATION FORM on the day of competition.

LOCATION: SA Athletics Stadium, Mile End

ENTRIES CLOSE: Monday 9th of January 11:59 pm
 


BIB NUMBERS: All Athletics SA members are required to wear their ASA bib number. Non-members will be allocated a temporary number and should wear the appropriate running uniform. 

CHECK IN: We ask that teams check in before their first event at least 45minutes before. 'Checking In' is a simple process of highlighting your name to let officials know you will be competing. Check In and bib collection will be located upstairs in the Function room.
