Ekiden Relay - 2022 Winter Season
Welcome to the seventh round of the 2022 Winter Season!
The Ekiden Relay is a true team event! Six members running varying distances to complete either a full or half marathon.
Ekiden (駅伝) is a Japanese term which refers to a long-distance relay running race, typically conducted on roads.
MARATHON: 6.195km + 4km + 10km + 8km + 6km + 8km
HALF MARATHON:3.097km + 2km + 6k + 4km + 2km + 4km

LOCATION: Bonython Park
TIMETABLE & DISTANCES: Both distances start at 9am. The below times outline the start time for each leg. If your team is faster than the predicted start time, then the next leg runner may go immediately as in a normal relay race.

Clubs will challenge for Winter points across the ages in the final premiership round! Each individual will score points based on their individual relay leg and will be ranked within their age using the ASA Ekiden Scoring Table. Athletes will score points whether they are in a full or half marathon team.
