The latest event week information has been released by AA and forwarded on via email by ASA. It is due to be included in the information found on the event website (https://www.athletics.com.au/events/239097/), but if you are unable to locate it please contact Kurt at development@athleticssa.com.au

Please note that the Roster app shows start times relative to your current time zone. So if you are looking at the app and comparing it to the competition schedule found on the AA website it will be out by 30min. Once you get into brisbane the app will recognise that you are there and give you the start times that are the same as the schedule.

Latest information from AA around spikes/shoes. Further information, including pictures, can be found in the Technical Regulations which are located on the AA webpage for the event.

The Physio booking sheet is now live.
A reminder that the focus of our Physio support is preparation for performance and injury assessment/treatment. If you are planning on making multiple bookings, please contact Nat (natalie@physiosmart.com.au) beforehand to discuss what you are looking for, why you need it and how it is going to improve your performance at Nationals.

Dear All Schools Athletes (+ Parents) and Coaches,
All of the paperwork has been submitted to Athletics Australia and the team list is out. The best way to keep on top of the schedule, start lists and results is via the Roster Athletics app. You can find the schedule here: https://meets.rosterathletics.com/public/competitions/details/schedule?id=25603
Athletics Australia are continuing to drop new information on their event website (https://www.athletics.com.au/events/239097/), so this is the best place to go for everything from technical information to spectator tickets and merchandise.
There will be a pre-departure meeting on Saturday 30th of November at the SA Athletics Stadium. This is not compulsory, but it is an opportunity for us all to get together, meet and greet, ask/answer questions and hear from a mystery guest. The morning will be as follows:
9:30am – Activation with Natalie Gibbs (Physio Smart)
10am – Relay practice with Russel Hansen (team coach)
11am – Q&A with Kurt + Special Guest
11:30am – wrap up and prepare for Interclub
Feel free to come to some or all of it, depending on what your schedule allows.
Relay teams will be determined the day before the specific relay is due to take place. I will be going through everyone’s times, but feel free to email me to ensure your interest of being involved with the relays has been noted.
The best place to get all of the latest information from team management will be on our website here: https://www.athleticssa.com.au/athletes/all-schools-latest-information/
If you are needing to get in contact with me during the competition the best way (other than coming to our team tent) will be via email.
ASA Masterclass:
You are all also invited to a Masterclass taking place at the SA Athletics Stadium this Saturday (23rd November) from 9am. Justin Rinaldi (Peter Bol’s coach) is going to be talking about his coaching philosophy and the way he has applied it with his Fast 8 Track Squad. More information, and the registration portal, can be found here: https://www.athleticssa.com.au/events/262839
Not long to go now,
