SA to Field a Team of 125 for Australian All Schools

Tuesday, 1 December 2015 | Athletics South Australia

Athletics SA will field its largest interstate team for the Australian All Schools in a long time at this weekend's Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in Melbourne. The three day event kicks off on Friday and runs through until Sunday at Melbourne's Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park.

The final South Australian team has been confirmed at 125 athletes after some late withdrawals. The team will be supported by a further 11 coaches, managers, and medical staff, lead by Athletics SA Development Manager, Andrew Crawford. The team is the largest South Australian team sent interstate since the revised format for the Australian All Schools was introduced a few years ago. This team size is second only to last year's team of 150 when the Championships were held in Adelaide.

Team SA has won the Small States Cup 3 out of the last 4 years and will be looking to once again bring home the silverware, along with a swag of medals.

Excitingly, AthsSA TV will also be bringing video highlights and updates from Lakeside Stadium during the Championship. To keep up to date, make sure you like Athletics SA's Facebook Page, which can be accessed via
